Before WordPress became my CMS of choice, I spent several years developing a PHP/MySQL-based CMS from scratch. Known as "Chrome" (prior to Google releasing theirs), it powered dozens of client sites, notably that of York Street Recording Studios.
The Chrome CMS offered a contacts database, photo gallery, user accounts and page editing, which employed a unique template method of updating the site's column-based layout.
The York Street site is currently undergoing a thorough redesign and migration to WordPress, where the powerful user management, paired with a custom-developed plugin, will allow clients to login and exchange audio files with the studio's staff.
